Standard Adjustment of Status

If you are in the United States with legal status and want to stay permanently, let us simply help you with the next step and apply for LPR status. It may sound like one small step, but it is in fact a giant leap closer to U.S. Citizenship.

If you entered the U.S. with a valid visa (even if it is now expired) and either your spouse or child (21+) is already a U.S. citizen or LPR, then you can apply for LPR status without leaving the country. It’s a big filing with big potential.

Consular Processing

Even if you once entered without status, if you are the spouse or parent of a U.S. Citizen or LPR, you may be eligible to acquire LPR status by applying through the U.S. embassy of your country of origin. While it certainly takes time, it is time well-spent.

Asylum (USCIS)

U-Visa/T-Visa

U-Visas are for those who were victims of violent crime in the United States such as rape, assault, kidnapping, or similarly horrifying acts. T-Visas are specifically for victims of human trafficking. If you were victimized in this way and aided U.S. authorities in catching the criminals responsible—and those authorities sign a legal document corroborating your account—then you will qualify for one of these visas. Best of all, there are no government filing fees

Spouses, children, or parents of abusive U.S. citizens or LPRs, who can prove that they lived together and were subjected to extreme cruelty by the abuser, are eligible to apply for LPR (“green card”) status without the abuser’s knowledge.
